The finish is looking good! Just the back of the house to do now, although I imagine they'll be rained off for the rest of the week if the forecast is to be believed.

Scratch coat on front and side, let's see how far they get tomorrow!

The roof had successfully been pitched, all that was left was to brick up the hole.

Full house

Just a few more tiles to go on , followed by the ridge tiles as that should be us watertight! Well... from the roof anyway. We still need windows and doors.

Another day, more tiles! It's looking good.

More roof

After many sunny days and less roof work than we'd hoped, we came home today to see quite a change!

Not so flat roof

There was a small window of opportunity today before the rain arrived, so more tiles went on the back roof. They're big tiles because of the shallow pitch but that means they go on quickly!

Water-tight?

The whole roof is now felted, so we should be more or less watertight now! I really hope we are as we're expecting rain this weekend...

Tiles

The valleys are done and there is only a bit of the roof that still needs covering with membrane. Tiles have also started going on now - it's looking great!
